Afghanistan's image will change with the development of the New Kabul City. There is the need more than ever for an urban city that provides healthy lifestyle and economic prosperity for the Afghan citizens.

Once completed the New Kabul City will house over 3 million people in different sizes and styles of residential units. Aside from residential, the new city will include commercial, agricultural, educational, production, employment, public services and other sectors zoning.

Ground breaking work is scheduled to start by the end of 2010. The new city will border the Old Kabul International Airport in the south and the Bagram Airfield in the north. The city will be built on 500 square kilometer of plains and be the first modern city in Afghanistan.
